How to Lose 10 Pounds in 4 Weeks – Easy Workable Tips

In order to lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks, you need to make a commitment to yourself that you will make a concentrated effort in order to succeed. Not that it’s the hardest thing in the world, but it is something which requires you to change your life style and use your willpower.

1. Put yourself in the right state of mind. A positive attitude is half the battle. Believe that you can do this! One of my favorite things to do is put notes on my bathroom mirror. Whatever it is that I am trying to accomplish, I leave myself reminders. A sticky note works just great. Write on it that you can and will lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks and you will look great when you do! Positive reinforcement and positive thinking has a lot more power than most people think. Once you believe in yourself, anything can happen.

Make sure that the people around you are positive and supportive. If they are not, get away from them. Negativity will only hinder you. This is true in all facets of life, not just about weight loss. So…..get your sticky note, write how beautiful you are and you can do this, YOU CAN LOSE 10 POUNDS IN 4 WEEKS!

2. Start your day with a glass of water, it is the surest way to lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. It’s a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you if you really want to lose 1 pounds in 4 weeks.

3. Get exercising. You should know by now that you need to either burn 45000 calories through exercise, or remove them from your diet in order to get rid of those 10 pounds in 4 weeks . An average sized person weighing 160 lbs burns 300+ calories in a half hour of running at a gentle speed. It’s not unusual to see people lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks, or even more, with the right amount of exercise. If you’re heavier than that, it’s much more, but you can see how some regular exercise combined with watching your food can really take the pounds off.

4. Add a can of black beans to your daily diet

If you look up the meaning of black beans in a webster dictionary or any dictionary for that matter, The definition you would find is ” the perfect food for every one” . Ok, I made that up, but I see black beans as the perfect food for every one trying to lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks. This is because a Can of it costs as little as 50 cents – really cheap huh? and 25 grams of protein and fiber each.

It has it all… without even 1 gram of sugar.

You can add a Can to 1 of your meals (the earlier the better), but for most people (especially women), that’s too much. Instead, add 1/2 can to 2 different meals. Be sure to cook them for 5 minutes (you know, helps keep that gas thing under control wink wink). Another thing… this goes back to #2 up there. Because of this added fiber in your diet, you will NEED TO drink extra water or you may feel constipated.
