When you think of cheats in WOW, you can also be referring to World of Warcraft Exploits. The exploits are really not much different except that a Cheat might get you banned while an exploit will get you banned. Either way, you are taking a risk, so think long and hard about using them.
If you are not sure what a World of Warcraft Exploits is, consider some of these examples. Dismissing a hunter pet without any cast time is caused by clicking revive pet while the pet is out. It gets rid of the pet with no repercussions for doing it the wrong way. This is an Exploit and you are forewarned.
Using something other than a Pet’s normal food to feed them. The pets have specific diets and if you find a way to feed it something not intended for them that causes no harm – look out this is an Exploit. However, you can give your pet 10 items of food at once and it will change the mood from red to happy.
Getting unlimited Hearthstone by using the auto-unstuck feature inappropriately is also an Exploit. Getting rid of the Deserter Debuff by skipping out on battles and arenas without taking a penalty is also an Exploit.
There are World of Warcraft Exploits that are legal, one such exploit is stealing another players guild raid-id and use it for yourself. I know this doesn’t sound legal yet it really is. The Blizzard of World of Warcraft does not believe that someone can steal your BWL, AQ40, or even Naxx id; they believe you simply gave it to them. However, it has happened and will happen again.
There are hundreds of exploits out there and some are legal for one reason or another, but many are not. You have to continually remember that if you choose to use a World of Warcraft Exploit, you can get caught and banned. Many will look to exploits because they are tired of having to follow the rules, others will use exploits especially when they are used on them, and some to simply see how far they can go without getting caught.
There are legal ways to advance in the World of Warcraft game you simply have to look in the right places.
