Description Tree was dethroned in June 2019 due to 10 year rule (last measured 2008). Tree was visited by Brian Kelley on 7/30/19. Brian provided updated measurements of this tree on 7/31/19. Brian also reported that DBH is 4 inches below the split of the multiple trunks. I updated measurements, year last measured, and status to verified on 7/31/2019. RT

This champion Atlantic White-cedar of Ohio made its debut on the list of American Forests Champion Trees in 2019, as it is the largest known tree of its species in the country.
