Wintry weather will continue this week, with the Met Office stating it will remain cold with wintry showers at times.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist Frank Saunders said: “However later on Tuesday and early Wednesday, don’t be surprised to see some snow falling even in Wales and the south, although again most of any lying snow will be over hills.”
Some maps from Netweather and WXCharts show London covered in snow towards the latter end of this week.
For now, Met Office yellow warnings for snow and ice remain in place.
The Met Office yellow ice warning is in place from 8pm on Monday night until 10am on Tuesday.
The warning is for Central, Tayside and Fife, East Midlands, Grampian, Highlands and Eilean Siar, North East England, North West England, Northern Ireland, Orkney and Shetland, SW Scotland, Lothian Borders, Strathclyde and Yorkshire and Humber.
