“Also, quite a strong north-easterly wind cutting down into the Balkans particularly Croatia.
“There will be some challenging conditions particular as we head down to the coast and across some of the higher mountain tops.
“There is some pretty rain pushing out of this front into west Russia for Monday.
“The tail end of it fizzles out quite significantly so there is not much rain making its way into Romania.”
Yesterday BBC meteorologist Tomasz Schafernaker warned thunderstorms will batter western Europe this weekend.
Mr Schafernaker said: “The weather pattern across the continent is fairly typical for July.
He added: “That weather front shifts more into the eastern part of Europe on Sunday and you’ll see showers breaking out.
“It will be warning up in western Europe as Paris will be up to 26C and sunny weather on Sunday.”
The temperature in Madrid and Rome is expected to hover around 30C over the next week.
