Lafayette has announced 23 businesses as Green Business Award winners for 2021-2022.
The Green Business Program was adopted in 2013 and made to encourage businesses to conserve energy and water, reduce waste and have more sustainable practices. Businesses in the programs have access to training, education, incentives and sustainable solutions. The program is free to join.
Businesses were awarded from gold to bronze, based on practices, policies and education for employees and customers. Of the 23 businesses, 14 were gold recognitions, seven were silver and two were bronze.
Gold winners are Bare Boulder Design and Repair, Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (BVUUF), Camp Little Tooth Pediatric Dentistry, Confluence SBC, Errand Service Biz, Inc DBA e-Services, Jax Outdoor Gear, Romero’s K9 Club & Taphouse, Sister Carmen Community Center, Stem Ciders, Tadpole Press, The Happy Beast, The Natural Funeral, The Post Brewing Co. and WOW! Children’s Museum.
Silver winners included Atlas Valley Purveyors, Community Restaurant, Little Herbal Apothecary, Mumtaz Mediterranean Food, Proto’s Pizza, Lafayette, RE/MAX Alliance and Sister Carmen Retail Store. Bronze winners are Karen’s Company and Ninety Fifth Street Salon & Spa.
