Authorities are asking for the public’s help as they try to find those responsible for illegally dumping of waste oil sludge and tanks in a wildlife area in Camden County.
The oil spill was left at Winslow Wildlife Management Area in Winslow in the area of Inskip Road, likely during the week of Feb. 5, the state division of Fish & Wildlife said.
The oil didn’t spread out of the immediate area. The tanks and spills have been cleaned up and removed, officials said
The Winslow Wildlife Management Area spans 8,406 areas in Winslow and Monroe townships in Camden and Gloucester counties
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fish & Wildlife’s Southern Region Bureau of Law Enforcement Office at 856-629-0555.
