San Antonio Zoo has partnered with Texas-based Kerville Hills Winery to launch its very own wine, all proceeds of which will go towards wildlife conservation efforts.

Director of Marketing at Kerville Hills Winery has taken the helm alongside San Antonio Zoo’s chief operating officer Jesse Vargas to launch Conservino, a wine with a mission: to raise funds for wildlife conservation.
“We are thrilled to launch Conservino wine with our new partners at Kerrville Hills Winery,” commented President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo Tim Morrow.
“Our very own COO, Jesse Vargas, John, and his winery team have created two incredible tasting wines for us that will help grow and support our conservation programs.”
In a tweet, the San Antonio Zoological Society announced the news, writing:
“Today, San Antonio Zoo announced a new partnership with John Rivenburgh, Proprietor and Award-Winning Director of Wine Making at Kerrville Hills Winery, for Conservino, a red and white wine helping to secure a future for wildlife.
100% of proceeds from Conservino will support San Antonio Zoo-led conservation efforts locally and around the world. Conservino is available for private events at San Antonio Zoo and unveiled at their Zoobilation Ball on Friday, November 11th.”
The Conservino wine joins Conserveza beer, also created by San Antonio Zoo in an effort to raise funds for wildlife conservation.
Conservino wine can be found for purchase at select locations.
